Define Natural: A Natural Wine Encyclopedia is the work I focused on for my thesis at OCADU. Working in the service industry over the past 5+ years, I've noticed both the lack of natural wine knowledge, and the growth in natural wine's popularity. This book speaks to both, serving as a reference book for those studying natural wine, or just getting into it.
Researched, written and illustrated myself, I chose some classic elements like modern serif typefaces and wine motifs, and mixed them with the funky colours and naturalistic drawing style; an ode to natural wine's historic roots yet modern fame. This book fills a huge gap in natural wine literature; providing a brief overview of what natural wine is, how it's made and what defines it.
