A Data Analysis of Augusta Ave Kensington Market’s Fight Against Gentrification is just that; when assigned a street within the OCAD neighbourhood to do a data analysis of, I discovered Augusta’s history of attempts of gentrification and the community’s willingness to band together and fight it.
Inspired by the lively culture of the market and it’s rich visual language of graffiti and street art, this booklet documents that history through fun visuals of current and past Augusta Avenue, and educational data sets.
